The library has several computers available to provide high-speed access to the internet as well as a standard suite of software (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation). In addition, wireless access is available 24 hours a day inside and outside the building for those with their own devices.
There is a limit of one hour per day of use on library computers. Reserve a time slot at the main desk. One computer is reserved for quick 15-minute sessions to check email or print a document. Printing is available: 25 cents/page for black-and-white or 50 cents/page for colour.
Use of the library's computer and network (including wireless) is governed by the
Access to the Internet policy. By connecting to the library's network or using one of the library's computers, you are agreeing to abide by this policy. Users may have their access to the library's computers or network revoked for any violation of the policy.
Children's computer
The Library also offers a computer dedicated to literacy based games for use in the children’s department. The computer features games and quizzes that facilitate learning.
Computer training
The library is in the process of setting up computer training. Check back for more details or
call for more information.
Community Access Program
The library's public computers are provided by funding from Industry Canada's Community Access Program. The library gratefully acknowledges ongoing funding to provide this service.
