The Forest of Reading season has begun! The library is participating in four Forest of Reading programs this year. Click through to read about all the nominated titles:

• Blue Spruce for kids age 4-7
• Silver Birch for kids age 7-12 | Fiction | Nonfiction | Express
• Red Maple for kids in grades 7-8
• White Pine for kids in grades 9-12 | Fiction | Nonfiction

Forest of Reading is an Ontario Library Association program that encourages kids to read works by Canadian authors. All books are available at special displays in the library. If you read several books between now and April, you can vote on your favourite. Votes are passed on to the province, and a winner in each category is crowned.
