The Perth & District Union Public
Library provides a meeting room for use by the public on a
rental basis during the hours that the library
is open to
the public. The library provides elevator access to the second
floor.
- The
person signing for the room on behalf of the organization
accepts responsibility for the property and the
deportment
of the group renting the room.
- The
library is in no way responsible for any injuries sustained
during the use of the room.
- The
library is a smoke-free building and the consumption of
alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
- In
accordance with Ontario Fire Code regulations the capacity
of the room is 80 people (lower depending on setup).
- The
minimum rental fee is $40 for a three hour period and $10
for each additional hour.
- Groups must end their programs half an hour before the library closes so as to complete cleanup by closing time.
- Audio-visual equipment may also
available for rent for use in the meeting room.
