Ontario Public Library Week
October is Canadian Library Month. During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians' lives. In Ontario, we celebrate our public libraries during Ontario Public Library Week (OPLW), on October 15 to 21, 2017. The Perth Union Library is looking forward to celebrating with you!

Fine Amnesty
All overdue or lost books that are returned during Ontario Public Library Week will have all fines waived. Just return them between October 15 and 21!

Love My Library / #getthecard
The library sees an average of 124, 493 visits to the library each year. The average library cardholder borrows 21 items every year! The Perth Union Library encourages all community members to share their library story with them or on social media with the hashtag #getthecard.

A good library is a place, a palace where the lofty spirits of all nations and generations meet.
