During the first two weeks off of school, I didn’t really have a schedule. I slept in, had breakfast (which was really lunch), and switched between tasks, not really interested in anything. Eventually I realized I’d need to do something different in order to feel more productive and be able to have fun.
Now, every weekday, I get up at 7:00 to start my “school day” at 8:00. I do work from all of my classes until 12:00, the week punctuated with video chats, technological mishaps, and my sister and I helping each other with our assignments. I love being able to work at my own pace, but it’s hard to have insightful class discussions through bad wifi and disconnections during our class meetings.
Other than schoolwork, I’ve been able to get a lot of creative writing done, I’ve organized and rearranged my room a few times now, and made some Hobbit bread from my Lord of the Rings cookbook.
