There may occasionally be a material fee when we do a special craft.\n\nInformation\n\n A note on neurodiversity: We define this broadly to include people on the spectrum and those with learning impairments of all types. This includes developmental delays and more. These often go hand in hand and people may have overlapping diagnoses.\nIs this group for you? Do you want to meet new people? DESCRIPTION:WHO: Our Social Club is for neurodivergent young people from 16 to 30\nWHAT: For those who want to make friends while having fun and learning new things.  Each week we schedule an activity while making time for socializing. We have a variety of activities planned\, such as improv\, music\, board games\, crafts\, movies\, story writing\, hobby sharing\, conversation\, journaling\, painting\, pottery\, film-making\, movement\, community events\, and more.\nWHEN: We meet every Friday from 1:30 to 4:30pm\nWHERE: Perth & District Library\n\nPlease RSVP below.\n\nThere is no registration fee. There may occasionally be a material fee when we do a special craft.\n\nInformation\n\n A note on neurodiversity: We define this broadly to include people on the spectrum and those with learning impairments of all types. This includes developmental delays and more. These often go hand in hand and people may have overlapping diagnoses.\nIs this group for you? Do you want to meet new people? Can you participate calmly in a small group\, either independently or with the help of your support person? Are you between 16 and 30?\nGood to know: You are welcome to bring a support person. One-on-one support is not provided.\n\nOur club is peanut\, tree nut\, and sesame-free.\nMasks are optional but encouraged.

Each child is placed in a team with another participant and the duo compete against other teams to move to the Perth & District Library finals (Nov 16\, 1pm – 4pm). The winners of the Perth & District Library Finals go on to compete against teams from Carleton Place\, Lanark Highlands\, Mississippi Mills\, and Smith Falls at the Lanark County Final (Nov 30\, Perth Library\, 11am – 2pm) and win the trophy and prizes! \nAlthough a child registers for only ONE of the first rounds\, each child needs to be available to attend both finals – just in case!
