DESCRIPTION:In anticipation of the solar eclipse on April 8\, 2024\, we are happy to host Frank Hitchens in an informative presentation about the seasons\, phases of the moon and the eclipse! \nFrank was born at the beginning of the space race\, marked by the launch of the first artificial satellite\, Russia’s Sputnik 1. He grew up in the age of the Apollo moon landings and now enjoys sharing his life-long fascination with the cosmos with others. \nOpen to all ages. Complimentary solar eclipse glasses will be available to participants. \n
