There are several ways you can contribute to the library with a donation:

Cash Donations

You can make cash donations to the library at any time via our CanadaHelps page or at the library. The contributions of people like you help us keep our programs and services strong and growing. We appreciate your generosity!

Charitable tax receipts are provided for donations over $25. Tax receipts are issued annually at the end of the year. Please contact us for further information.

Donations In-Memory or Special Honorariums

Remember loved ones or special moments by donating and designating a book or other resources to the library. Dedication plates may be added if you wish. Please contact us for further information.

Sponsor a Book or Book Club Set

You can donate funds to purchase a book or a book club set. Dedication plates may be added if you wish. It is $25 to sponsor a book and $175 to sponsor a book club set. Please contact us for further information.

Planned Giving

Please consider leaving a lasting gift to your library and the community. Your giving options include wills and bequests, memorial or celebration gifts, annuities, life insurance, trusts and gifts of property or assets. Please contact us for further information. A special lifetime donation to your library ensures your generosity benefits your family and community well into the future.

Support the Children’s Literacy Program

Donations to our summer literacy program allow us to hire and train university and/or college students to tutor children in kindergarten through grade three during July and August. These children have been recommended by their teachers for extra help with their reading and writing during the summer holiday.

You can donate via our CanadaHelps page, at the library, or by making a contribution to the Children’s Literacy Fund at the Perth and District Community Foundation.
