Donations to our literacy programs allow us to hire and train high school and/or post-secondary students to tutor children in our Summer Literacy Program and OWLS Tutoring. Participating in our literacy programs is proven to improve children’s attitudes & confidence about reading. We help over 200 children each year! Our programs are funded entirely by grants & donations, making it impossible to run without the help of people like you!
You can donate via our website, in-person at the library at 30 Herriott St, or by making a contribution to our endowment fund, the Children’s Literacy Fund at the Perth and District Community Foundation.
Donations In-Memory or Special Honorariums
Remember loved ones or special moments by making a donation in their name. Please contact us directly if you would like to designate a book or other specific resources to the library in their memory, including adding a dedication plaque.

You can donate funds to purchase a book. Dedication plates may be added if you wish. It is $30 to sponsor a book. Please contact us for further information.
Sponsor a Book Club Set
You or your book club can donate funds to purchase a book club set. Dedication plates may be added if you wish. It is $250 to sponsor a book club set. Please fill out our book club kit sponsorship form.
Planned Giving
Please consider leaving a lasting gift to your library and the community. Your giving options include wills and bequests, memorial or celebration gifts, annuities, life insurance, trusts and gifts of property or assets. Please contact us for further information. A special lifetime donation to your library ensures your generosity benefits your family and community well into the future.
