Intergenerational Storytime!

Intergenerational Storytime – in partnership with Aspira Carolina Retirement Living
The Perth & District Union Public Library is excited to host: Intergenerational Storytime. This program will be offered on selected dates throughout thhe spring and summer and will be held in the main lobby of Aspira Carolina Retirement Living. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their children and grandchildren to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes with residents from the retirement community, hosted by the library’s Children’s Librarian. This program is best suited for children ages 18 months – 5 years.
“The idea of hosting a storytime outside of the library has been percolating for a while and when a community member suggested Aspira Carolina, it seemed like a good fit. Seeing all ages come together for early literacy is wonderful – it should be an engaging experience for all!” – Heidi Taber
