Sustainability Opportunities for Perth Area Home and Building Owners

April 8, 2023 , 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Daniel Vivian P.Eng. is a mechanical engineer with over 35 years of engineering experience with the last 20 years focused on Building Science Consulting (capital planning an

energy conservation). He has a business to help home and building owners reduce their environmental impact by preparing plans to move off fossil fuels as efficiently as possible.

He will discuss the environmental impact of fossil fuels, it’s significance in the country’s energy mix and how owners can move off fossil fuels to protect the environment.

This discussion will include insights into the most promising Energy Conservation Measures, the comparable costs of various fuels and solar power and shows how owners can move their houses and buildings to Net Zero economically (i.e. Net Zero is where the building produces as much energy as it uses annually).
