What is in the Watershed?

After learning about how wetlands work, we will pull back the focus to the larger issues surrounding watersheds. We will be specifically speaking about our local watersheds, as well as more general issues like erosion, run-off, pollution, and how to create smart urban plans in the future by avoiding issues we see currently.

With hands-on modelling, each team or participant will be challenged to reimagine topography and landscaping to buffer the effects of both droughts and floods. (Come dressed to get a bit wet).
