Grades 3 - 5 Discover the science behind natural disates and structural engineerng by coding your own EARTHQUAKE simulator!
Teens! Join us to learn how to make a great piece of room decor: a hanging origami crane mobile! We will learn how to make origami cranes, and then use them to create a whimsical and aesthetic hanging decoration. Registration begins on July 3 at 9 am.
This event is open to all! Come bring your current knitting project and work alongside other creative crafters. This group meets in the Garden in the summer Wednesdays from 10:00-12:00. See you there!
Sculptor and poet, Sarah Emtage, will demonstrate the basics of making shapes with plasticine and lead the class in using those shapes to create castles. She will also perform some of her own poetry and guide those who are interested in writing short poems of their own.

Grades 6 - 8 Investigate Mars rover technology by assembling and coding Lego Spike Rover to navigate a simulated Martian terrain.
Join Heidi Tuesday mornings for stories,songs and rhymes.This program is best suited for children ages 0-5 and takes place in Stewart Park, The Maberly Hall and Aspira Court retirement home on a rotating shedule. Registration not required drop in!
People have been using calligraphy for thousands of years as an outlet for creativity and beauty. It is also extremely relaxing. Join us at the library to practice the ancient art of calligraphy and relax and concentrate on making something beautiful! Registration opens on July 20 @ 9 am.
