Sculptor and poet, Sarah Emtage, will demonstrate the basics of making shapes with plasticine and lead the class in using those shapes to create castles. She will also perform some of her own poetry and guide those who are interested in writing short poems of their own.
Join us as we read our next Story & Craft book "We are Water Protectors" by Carol Lundstrom! We will then spend some time in the library garden learning how to draw leaves, trees, bugs, and flowers! Registration opens on July 3 @ 9 am.

Join us for our very last Story & Craft of the summer! We will be reading "Poko and the Drum" by Matthew Forsythe and then we will make our very own cardboard mushrooms. Registration opens July 31.

Parents, grandparents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their children and grandchildren to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes with residents from the retirement community, hosted by the library’s Children’s Librarian. This program is best suited for children ages 18 months – 5 years. Drop in all welcome!
