The Perth & District Union Public Library is located in the Town of Perth at 30 Herriott St. The town is very well known for its heritage buildings and picturesque downtown. The library is located in the Heritage District, and is a busy public building with two floors.

The library’s first-storey flat roof (mid-tier roof, portion with existing gravel) has been leaking and repaired on numerous occasions, particularly during the winter of 2024/25 due to increased freeze/thaw cycles. As per the Library’s 2026 budget, the Library has a planned capital project to re-roof the flat roof as outlined in the scope of work.
