TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by more than 2,000 public libraries across Canada. It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories. It’s designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading!

Kids (and their caregivers) can participate anytime, anywhere—at local public libraries across Canada as well as at home, online, on the road or wherever their summer takes them. Participants explore recommended reads; track their own reading; connect and share with others across the country; read eBooks online; join in activities at libraries; write jokes, stories and book reviews; and more. Pick up your free summer reading backpack & games starting June, 22 at 1pm. (Backpacks are for children 0-12)

Part of the fun of summer reading is the chance to win prizes! For every book read or listened to you may enter a digital ballot for a chance to win a NEW BIKE! A huge thank-you to Canadian Tire Perth for their generous donation of two bicycles. Winners will be drawn at our end-of-summer party on Friday August, 26 at 2pm.
